STARTING A HABIT OF DAILY MEDITATION

The hardest part of any new, healthy habit is always starting it. We will discuss and practice some basic meditation skills, how to setup your area for a successful meditation experience, and what to expect from daily meditation.

Together, we will explore different strategies for better connecting the mind to the present. This session includes resources for you to gain more focus and a short meditation experience.

STRESS REDUCTION THROUGH MINDFULNESS

How do I deal with the multiple stresses that enter my life? Mindfulness. We will build on the basis of daily meditation and grow your focus into mindfulness. This practice acknowledges the stress, the feelings and the situation for what they are: only temporary. Mindfulness develops your perspective to the present allowing you to release the stresses, prevent emotional blockage, and build space around those feelings.
